Flash player critical vulnerabilities

Flash player is a very famous and commonly use player in the internet today, i've seen it been a very unimportant use years back after YouTube started to serve videos in flash, everyone took this up and incorporated into their site and blogs to display videos and music, just like here; i've use mostly flash videos, long time ago it use to be Quicktime players and WMP players, with the customizable skins and player feel, it's just a recommended this to do these days, of course it doesn't support all file formats, depending on what file formats they are, which player has to be use, but why use others when Flash is recommended :)

It's probably due to it's security that people start to like it but then bad news happened yesterday where a few vulnerabilities were found on Flash player version 10.0.12.36 and before, it's critical base on the company's statement, so peeps, please do update to the latest version 10.0.22.87.

Coldplay steal someone's song?

After watchin the 51st Grammy Awards, Coldplay seems to do well in winnin some awards for their latest album which includes the famous song Viva La Vida, then I recall a time where Joe Satriani accuse Coldplay of stealing his song "If I Could Fly".

Diggin' into YouTube I found a few clips to prove that, below is the video comparing those two songs, is it similar? you be the judge.

People sometimes can create music consciously or subconsciously similar so another artist, it's really hard to know they did it on purpose or not, only god knows, you can be sure that Coldplay fans will defend them by pointin' out that music around the world are copied and manipulated all the time, there's gonna be a point where a music inspires you, you love makin' music because you love music, nuff said. And yet with this controversy still in a limbo, did Coldplay steal Joe Satriani's song? They have a better question, did Joe Satriani steal Enanitos Verdes's song then?

You be the judge..

Having slow connections to the internet? Posted yesterday

"Dear Valued Customers,

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to announce that there is a disruption of its Internet services since 18 February 2009 due to circuit fault on the Asia Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) between Kuantan - Katong in Singapore and Shantou - Tanshui in Taiwan linking Malaysia to the United States (US).

Due to this, customers using Internet services may now experience slow browsing while accessing content hosted in the U.S. In addition, customers using other IP services such as Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to the US may also experience some service degradation.

To alleviate the problem, some of the links have been rerouted to alternate routes to ease the congestion.

During the restoration process, traffic to Northern America may experience minor degradation while traffic to other countries is not affected. TM expects the complete recovery of its services by 5 March 2009. TM will make further announcements on the progress of the restoration works.

TM wishes to assure its customers that it is undertaking all necessary measures to restore communications services for its customers as soon as possible.

Customers can call TM at 100 and select “Internet Services” or e-mail us at help@tm.com.my for any Internet related problems.

Thank you"

Oh well...here we go again, lets hope it's not gonna be worse after 5th March, when are those other ISP gonna go mainstream? Competition is customers' best friend y'all.

Transparent Head! (Video included)

The barreleye (Macropinna microstoma) has extremely light-sensitive eyes that can rotate within a transparent, fluid-filled shield on its head. The fish's tubular eyes are capped by bright green lenses. The eyes point upward (as shown here) when the fish is looking for food overhead. They point forward when the fish is feeding. The two spots above the fish's mouth are olfactory organs called nares, which are analogous to human nostrils. Image: © 2004 MBARI

Stumble upon this in the news, it's a fish with a transparent head, you can actually see how it's eyes move inside, the eyes can move upwards and front, though the vision seems to only be a tunnel like vision.

It's called The barreleye (Macropinna microstoma), living in the depths of the sea where the sun don't shine, it's wondrous how pitch black environment can do to living things.

In this image, you can see that, although the barreleye is facing downward, its eyes are still looking straight up. This close-up "frame grab" from video shows a barreleye that is about 140 mm (six inches) long. Image: © 2004 MBARI

I have lots of interest in strange and mysterious things like space, and when it seems space is a fasinatin' place to explore, there's still a lot we haven't seen on earth, there's probably still depths in the sea that's impossible for us to go, everythin' down that deep will be alien in my eyes, if people tell me this fish was found on another planet, I would reacted the same way now, amazed.

I wonder if there's any civilization down there like that movie The Abyss ;x

Do you remember G.I. Joe?

Not particularly interested in the title in question but it brings up some interest since I've remembered the name during my childhood, the cartoon series and the toy line, I believe there's small trading cards representin' them as well.

If you didn't know yet, there's a movie made for the franchise, I don't even remember the characters other than there's a lot of characters in the cartoon series, but lookin' at the TV Spot happen at the super bowl, i'm not thinkin' twice about watchin' this movie.

Rihanna's concert in Malaysia cancelled?

There's a big problem problem roblem blem blem for Rihanna's concert in Malaysia a few days from now are rumored to have been canceled after she was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend, Chris Brown. It happened while they were heading to the Grammy's with Brown's rented $2000 per day Lambo for their performance there.

Brown physically hit her due to unconfirmed reasons, after some arguments erupted in the car, it was rumored that Rihanna chuck the Lambo's key out of the car and Chris was upset that he couldn't find it and was heard sayin' "I'm gonna kill you" to Rihanna, another rumor was about a text message that Chris received that upsets her.

Police arrive at the scene after someone heard her screamin' and started to dial 911. Police took down the reports and some pictures or the abuse and base on the cops' statement, it was "Horrific", bruised face, splitting lips etc.

Knowing this, i'm sure the concert will be canceled, but it was rumored to have been postpone ahead a few weeks when the dust clears...hopefully. In related stories, the well known big brother to Rihanna; Jay-Z seem to be upset about Chris and was caught sayin' "...he mess with the wrong crew"...*gulp*

Anyway IMO, what's good of a concert if the outfit selection was strict in Malaysia, Malaysia sure gettin' a lot of attention and sendin' bad reputation to the world, that's what caused Beyonce to not perform in Malaysia after the exact problem, Malaysia Boleh!

All the best to Rihanna and hope you'll come visit us soon, watch your back Chris..

Gong Xi Fa Cai first of all to all my chinese friends, surely it's a busy day for all of us. Like the title says, when combine the word revenge and gong xi fa cai, one would think I'm tryin to avenge my gambling lost during CNY, but that's not the case.

As some of you might know, super bowl has started in the US, it's huge there, i'm only interested in the TV spot at the super bowl, usually showcasing what movie, tv shows to come, & some advertisement, I heard if you want to have a 30 second clip at the super bowl, you must pay millions, there's many TV Spots available but one that interested me the most is the TV Spot for Transformers: The Revenge of The Fallen!

I must say, i'v been waiting for this for a long time, to have a glimpse of what to expect on this most inticipating movie this year (at least to me). The ooooh ahhhh factor in this TV Spot is you'll see a transformer with his head the size of..........Optimus Prime! Enjoy!
